It's not the fact that this fic is a high school story, it's that everything is rush. First day of school, she skips school with the Goth!Inu gang and ends up sleeping with them in one big bed, but the next morning Sesshomaru walks in on her in the bath tub and they sit there and have a little chat. Kagome walks home and is raped, then decides to unleash a can of whoop ass on the guy, walks home, and yells at her mother because of it. I guess there are no repercussions to being raped IN DAYLIGHT, might I add. The next day it's her birthday and she gets a car, then cue a big part and I just couldn't read anymore. The sad part is: (drumroll) There is a sequel! (curls up in fetal position) Mommy make the Suethor go away.
